How it works
1. Upload or Choose a Design
For a custom print, upload two photos—one front view and one side view. If you prefer a premade poster, simply pick from our creepy characters.
2. We Print & Ship
We create the design from your photos (or prepare your chosen character) and print it on a durable, water-resistant 18Ă—12 in. poster. Each print includes extra black space so you can trim it to perfectly fit your jar.
3. Place It in a Jar
Roll up the print, slide it inside a clear jar, and slowly pour in water. The face instantly appears to float inside, and for an even creepier “mad scientist” vibe, you can add a drop of food coloring.
Choosing the Right Jar
This is an 18Ă—12 in. print, with a realistic 8 in. face in the center.
Extra black space at the top and bottom, so you can cut to fit.
For the best effect, use a jar at least 9.5 in. tall (so the full face and top of the head are visible). The ideal size is 10–11 in. tall — about the height of a standard 1-gallon jar.
Avoid narrow jars — the effect looks best in wide jars with a clean, round opening. The wider the jar, the more natural the floating look will be.
Clear glass works best.
Add a few drops of red or yellow food coloring for a specimen look.
